Four for Three Offer – High Peak News for September.

Posted on September 29, 2014 in High Peak Newsletters · Hunting Equipment & Tips · Opinion

Firstly, apologies for missing the August newsletter. From time to time things get busy around here and August was one of those months – with everything from heliskiing to hunting, shearing sheep to overseas travel happening on the Station. However, that means we have more to report on for this month, so please read on.

We’re now coming into our main booking period as the Northern Hemisphere season draws to a close and hunters start to think about where their next trip will be. If you’re thinking about a trip to New Zealand next year, now is the time to make an application to hunt at High Peak.

For some special offers along with some useful information and some good news for the coming season, see below!

“Four for Three Offer” open until End of October!

Are there multiple people in your hunting party? Are you after a few trophies or species? Then this is the offer for you. For any three people, or three trophies booked for 2015, we will offer a fourth at NO EXTRA COST to the value of the least expensive hunt or trophy of the three.

We will keep this offer open until the end of October, so you have approximately one month to canvass your group or send us your trophy wishlist. Don’t delay as the calendar will start filling up from here as hunters confirm their itineraries for 2015. MAKE AN APPLICATION.

Spring has Arrived!

After an unseasonably mild winter which saw a lack of snow compared to what we would normally expect on High Peak, Spring has well and truly arrived. With temperatures hitting 24 degrees C (75 degrees F) in the South Island this week, the grass is green and you can almost see it growing.

The upshot of this is that the stags are off to a great start in terms of antler growth. The first month is critical to growing a good head and if the season continues in this vein, February will see some very impressive specimens of Red Deer, Elk and Fallow on High Peak’s game estate.

2015 could well be THE year to make the trip…
