High Peak Station

High Peak Station is the Guild family property upon which High Peak Game Estate is located. High Peak was established in 1856 in a wide valley at the head of the Selwyn River, near the geographic centre of New Zealand’s South Island. Comprising ten thousand acres, High Peak is home to two primary ventures – pastoral farming and guided trophy hunting.

The Art of Stalking.

High Peak’s hunting operation is born out of a dedicated passion for the art of stalking. For this reason, we have created the largest game estate in New Zealand with open-ranging trophy herds delivering a true fair-chase stalking experience.

By providing the animal with a real and practised opportunity to evade the hunter, the skill and ability of a true stalker can be beautifully illustrated. It is the stalk that our guests really value – many can provide a big trophy, but not many can deliver the hunt to match it.

By combining our awesome 4500-acre hunting environment with a low-volume approach to hosting our hunting guests, High Peak provides a unique experience.
